I love to make people laugh, and I love to laugh too. I’ve even heard that laughing is good for your health. Now, I have discovered a way to share my passion of laughing with others -- CKS Middle School speech team. When I get up to practice my speech, I have a great time and sometimes even make myself laugh, even though I’m not supposed to. I get great feedback that helps me better my public speech skills. I feel that being a part of this awesome team that has made me into a better speaker than I was before.

Even if making people laugh just doesn’t sound that great, speech team is great for a lot of other things. If you want your opinion heard, want to overcome your fear of speaking in front of other people, want to share your passion for something other than laughing, want to make a cause known, or even just want people to learn something new, speech team is the place for you.
